6 Chapel Place, London EC2

JRA has successfully completed the interior design and fit out of 6 Chapel Place, a Grade II listed mid nineteenth century chapel in Shoreditch, London.

JRA was commissioned by Scottish publishing house, D.C. Thomson Ltd to transform the 850sqm chapel into a new headquarters and high-tech office space for their subsidiary, brightsolid, a young IT business provider and online publisher of Friends Reunited and Find My Past.

JRA worked closely with brightsolid's design consultant Ric Russell of Nicoll Russell Studios to develop the interior design for the building including
a new atrium which creates visual connections between all three office floors, and bespoke design lighting rafts and exposed air-ducts. Together with exposed concrete soffits, and wall graphics by Lauren Rennet of Elastic Creative, the effect echoes the local edgy-urban, design-led environment of this part of East London.
